At CleverApprove, the protection of personal data is deeply integrated into our software architecture (Privacy by Design). We process all data in strict accordance with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Your data and documents never leave the European legal area. All servers and cloud infrastructure are located within the EU. - Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
For business customers, we provide a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. You can conclude it easily and entirely online via your account settings. - Strict Purpose Limitation & Data Minimization
We collect and process only the data absolutely necessary for the technical operation of your approval processes (e.g. reviewers’ email addresses). No tracking for advertising purposes is carried out. - Respect for Data Subject Rights
You have the right at any time to access, rectify, restrict the processing of, or completely delete your data (Art. 15–21 GDPR). A simple click in your dashboard is sufficient to permanently delete data.
